Shawn Setzer, owner of Signs by Shawn, has been in the sign industry since 1986.     He starting making signs with his father Phillip Terris who opened Terris Signs & Graphics at that time in Old Monroe, Missouri.

In 1990 Shawn graduated from Winfield High School and joined the United States Air Force where he recieved his Associates Degree in Electronic Science.

Shawn spent 4 years in the Air Force in which time he was stationed at Rhein-Main Air Base in Frankfort, Germany.  While Stationed in Germany Shawn recieved the Air Force Achievement Medal and the Overseas Service Medal for his support of Army troops in the first Iraq conflict.  So when you see our slogan "Quality - Service - Integrity" you can know that it is not an empty remark.

In 1994 Shawn was Honorably discharged from the Air Force and went back to work with his Father at Terris Signs and Graphics.  In 1999 Shawns parents decided to return to their hometown of Sullivan, Missouri.  At this time Shawn had decided that Lincoln County was his home and that he would open Signs by Shawn and continue to serve his community.

Tracy is our Office Manager as well as being trained in Sales, and if need be she jumps in and helps to get a rush job out the door.
Vienna Von Snausages Setzer, AKA Snitzer, is our shop dog, she is a long haired miniture dashound that has been with us since the beginning of the company.  She pretty much is useless but her level of seniority has helped her to retain her job.   Please note that if you see her arch nemisis the UPS guy, she would appreciate it if you'd bring her his leg so she doesn't have to try to take it from him every time he visits.
